Grandfather clock does not work after moving it?

The clock is off-beat most likely. The tics and tocs need to be exactly spaced at equal intervals. Remove the pendulum and press it one direction, when it stops moving (as far as it will swing one way) press it a tad farther. Try and run it again, listen to the beat again. If you are going the wrong direction, press it to the opposite side plus a tad more. continue this process untill the tics and tocs are equally spaced (timed) --- Otherwise call an expert.
