Would this amp and sub work together? Cables?

That amp would run the sub fine however if you only plan on getting one, then that amp is over twice the subs RMS power and the sub wouldn't run for very long before it was done. If you plan on getting 2 subs then ok however you are still 100 watts over rated RMS power for each so you could still ruin them. For a single sub stick with a 400 watt or less amp, for 2 800 watts or less. As for cables, the easiest route would just be to get a complete amp kit, I prefer Stinger brand.
