4 inch white scratch on my black bumper!?

I have a 2004 black corolla. the handle on my garage door skidded down my bumper leaving a white 4 inch scratch. It stands out on the black and i really would like to do something about it. This won't be a do-it-myself project, so what cost can i expect when i take it to a local auto shop? Is it as simple as a buff and repaint, or something more?
