Is it better to focus on skate tricks or stairs,gaps and ledges?

I have skate tricks but not alot of hard ones the best i have is a backside heel an im working on a varial heel but i have done a couple have small gaps ollied a 4 stair kickfliped a 2 stair an working on ollieing a 6 an i have ollied an 8 stair ledge
